UTI 091 on page 231 asks for a review of two paragraphs.

Action 1: clause (3) at 231:22-24 correctly states the waiting rules.

Action 2: page 232:9-16 are OK.  If a data transfer takes a branch, a
subsequent wait on that unit will return immediately because there is no
pending I/O.
