Subject:    Response to Some Items in 03-101

    This is in response to some of the proposed edits in 03-101.  JOR
recommends that J3 make the following edits, except as indicated.

Edits:
[253:14]    Change "abstract interface" to "characteristics".

[253:14]    After "name" insert ", the argument keywords".

[255:41]    Insert "specific" after "explicit".

[258:5]     Insert a blank after the first comma.

[259:14]    Delete "the" and "operation".

[262:28,263:1]  Change "in" to "declared within or inherited into" twice.

[294:9-12+1]    Do not make this edit.

[295]       Do not Delete the rows for ICHAR, INT, LGE, LGT, LLE, LLT, and
REAL from table.

[340:10]    Do not Change "variable of the same type and kind type
parameters" to "real variable with the same kind type parameter".

[340:10-11] Change "would have" to "has" and "were" to "is".

[388:13]    Delete "or specifies a size of [*]".

[451:32]    Change "Fortran" to "FORTRAN".
