subprograms. All of the collectives include internal synchronization.

Reply: No. The fact that pointers may become undefined just affects their
later usability.

the corresponing actual argument shall not be an optional dummy argument.
Why does THIS_IMAGE allow an optional dummy argument so long as it's not
absent?

Reply: See the optional DIM argument for SIZE. No mention of it being
an optional dummy or not. Seems like another case?

Edit:

[431:4+2] In the description of the DIM argument to THIS_IMAGE(),
change "It shall not be an absent optional dummy argument." to "The
corresponding actual argument shall not be an optional dummy
argument."
