1. Background
-------------

CD comments US-011/014/015 request relaxing semantic restrictions on the
intrinsic transformational functions NUM_IMAGES, TEAM_NUMBER and THIS_IMAGE,
respectively. The intent is to allow invocation of their single-argument forms
to pass any valid TEAM_TYPE argument, regardless of the current team.  See paper
26-206 for background information and rationale for the proposed change.

2. Resolution
-------------

J3 recommends CD comments US-011/014/015 be rejected, on the basis that this
relaxation would constitute a feature change that is not represented in the
current work item list (N2261), and thus would require authorization from WG5.
